The Department of War's Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) program ensures compliance within the DoW by overseeing the management, control, approval processing, and tracking of information collection requests.
Our primary objectives are to prevent the wasteful expenditure of DoW resources on redundant or obsolete information collections and to minimize the burden the DoW places on the public.
This program is managed by the Office of Information Management (OIM) – formerly the Information Collections Branch (ICB) – within the Directives Division of the Executive Services Directorate, Washington Headquarters Services.
